JEFF COX

Jeff Cox currently serves as President of Birdsong Construction. Cox began his 31-year career in the industry at Birdsong and has been providing clients with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle any job, no matter the size, since day one. His years of experience and his knowledge in the industry led him to serve as a President of the American Subcontractors Association.

Cox is a graduate of Mississippi College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

SAM WALLER, P.E.

Sam Waller serves as Birdsong’s Vice President and Project Manager. He has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry and has become an integral part of the ensuring success for our clients on every project.

Waller is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is also a licensed professional engineer in the state of Mississippi.

AARON BISCHOFBERGER

Aaron Bischofberger serves as Birdsong’s Secretary and Project Manager. He has 16 years of experience in the industry and is a valuable resource for clients in all aspects of projects.

Bischofberger is a graduate of Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering Technology.

DUCK CRABTREE

Duck Crabtree serves as CFO for Birdsong Construction. He has over 20 years of experience in the construction and accounting industry. Duck and his team help keep projects on budget while also helping execute Birdsong’s financial strategy.

He is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting.

SCOTT CARTER

Scott Carter serves as Birdsong’s Business Development Manager. Scott has over 37 years of experience in the construction industry.  His experience includes all aspects of construction such as estimating, managing, scheduling, cost control, and contract negotiations.

Scott is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering Technology and also holds construction licenses in several states.

RYAN KILLINGSWORTH

Ryan Killingsworth is an Estimator with Birdsong. He has more than 17 years of experience in the construction sector and is able to provide our clients with resources to ensure they maximize their project’s efficiency.

Killingsworth is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a major in Management of Construction and Land Development with a Bachelor of Business Administration.

JOHN TURNER

John Turner serves as Birdsong’s Assistant Project Manager and Estimator. He aids in ensuring our Project Managers and Supervisors have what is needed to price and complete each project. Turner is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

Turner interned with Birdsong for the Summer of 2021 and was offered a full time position following graduation.

STACY RHODES

Stacy Rhodes is Birdsong’s Equipment Manager. A knowledgeable man in the construction industry, with nearly 32 years of experience, he has been a valuable team member with Birdsong for the past nine years.

IGNACIO “NACHO” RAMIREZ

Ignacio “Nacho” Ramirez is a General Superintendent over our site work division at Birdsong Construction. With more than 20 years of experience with earthwork and underground utilities, Nacho aids all superintendents and crews with scheduling, coordination, and quality control. Having work experience across the United States, Nacho’s vast knowledge of construction is one of the many reasons he is a valued member of our Birdsong team.

MICHAEL GOODSON

Michael Goodson serves as Birdsong Construction’s Director of Safety. With over 30 years of experience in the construction field, he aids in ensuring a safe and accident-free work environment through planning, directing and implementing safety policies and procedures across all job sites.

Goodson has been a member of WSO and ASSE for 10 years and holds CHST, CSM, CSS, and CST certifications. He is also an NCCER and MSHA Instructor.
