Associated Wholesale Grocers encompasses 110 acres and is located in DeSoto County, MS. This project included approximately 363,000 cubic yards (CY) of unclassified excavation and grading and the installation of nearly 250,000 SY of soil cement & 65,000 tons of limestone aggregate. Our team also installed 2,100 linear feet of storm drainage, 12,300 linear feet of various sizes of water mains and over 5,000 feet of gravity sewer and force mains. Over 135,000-sf of concrete flumes and paved ditches were also installed to help combat erosion control. The 895,000-sf building pad included 27 different finished floor elevations, due to Owner’s requirements for freezers and automation, which was achieved via 3-d modeling, Robotic Total Stations and Robotic machine control.
