I-269 Logistics Center encompassed 160 acres and is located in Marshall County, MS. This project included approximately 700,000 cubic yards (CY) of excavation and grading spanning a six-month period. Further subgrade preparations included the installation of nearly 35,000 SY of soil cement and 10,000 tons of limestone aggregate and also included the implementation of 8,200 linear feet of storm drainage, 11,100 linear feet of various sizes of water mains and over 6,200 feet of gravity sewer and force mains. Over 9,000 liner feet of concrete curb & gutter were installed along with 235,000-sf of asphalt pavement. Erosion control measures including 45 acres of permanent seeding, 25 acres of hydroseeding, 1,750 linear feet of paved ditches and 150,000-sy of erosion control matting, were installed to help combat erosion control. The 985,000-sf building pad was fast-tracked, and completion / turnover was made within four months of the project’s inception.
